Andreas Hauser: If we look at user experience as it applies to people in their everyday lives, we see that they use all sorts of convenient online services every day now, such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Now they want to have the same kind of UX in their business lives.

Ходжа Насреддин с волнением узнавал знакомые улицы, чайханы и минареты. Ничто не изменилось за десять лет в Бухаре, все так же облезшие собаки дремали у водоемов, и стройная женщина, изогнувшись и придерживая смуглой рукой с накрашенными ногтями свою чадру, погружала в темную воду узкий звенящий кувшин. И все так же наглухо были заперты ворота знаменитой медресе Мир-Араб, где под тяжелыми сводами келий ученые улемы и мударрисы, давно позабывшие цвет весенней листвы, запах солнца и говор воды, сочиняют с горящими мрачным пламенем глазами толстые книги во славу аллаха, доказывая необходимость уничтожения до седьмого колена всех, не исповедующих ислама. Ходжа Насреддин ударил ишака пятками, проезжая это страшное место.
Но где же все-таки пообедать? Ходжа Насреддин в третий раз со вчерашнего дня перевязал свой пояс.
— Надо что-то придумать,— сказал он. — Остановимся, мой верный ишак, и подумаем. А вот, кстати, чайхана!
Разнуздав ишака, он пустил его собирать недоеденный клевер у коновязи, а сам, подобрав полы халата, уселся перед арыком, в котором, булькая и пенясь на заворотах, шла густая от глины вода. «Куда, зачем и откуда течет эта вода — она не знает и не думает об этом,— горестно размышлял Ходжа Насреддин. — Я тоже не знаю ни своего пути, ни отдыха, ни дома. Зачем я пришел в Бухару? Куда я уйду завтра? И где же раздобыть полтаньга на обед? Неужели я опять останусь голодным? Проклятый сборщик пошлин, он ограбил меня дочиста и еще имел бесстыдство толковать мне о разбойниках!»

Chapter Four
It was the sweltering and quiet hour following noon. The dust from the road, the stones, the earthen fences and walls all glowed and breathed with the lazy heat, and the sweat on Hodja Nasreddin’s face dried faster than he could wipe it off.
Hodja Nasreddin was seized with emotion as he recognized the familiar streets, teahouses, and minarets. In ten years, nothing had changed in Bukhara: Mangy dogs still slumbered at the water wells. A shapely woman, bent over and holding her veil with her dark hand and painted nails, was plunging a narrow jug glugging into the dark water. And just like before, the gates of the renowned medressa Mir-Arab were bolted shut. Behind them, under heavy pillars in monastic cells, the learned ulamas and instructors, who had long since forgotten the color of leaves in springtime, the aroma of sunlight, and the murmur of water, had a darkly burning flame in their eyes as they composed thick books to the glory of Allah to prove the necessity of annihilating to the seventh generation all those who do not profess Islam. Hodja Nasreddin kicked his donkey with his heels as he rode past this dreadful place.
But then where to get lunch? For the third time since the day before, Hodja Nasreddin retied his belt.
“I’ve got to think of something,” he said. “Let’s stop, my loyal donkey, and think. And, hey, there’s a teahouse!”
He unbridled his donkey and let him pluck at what clover had not yet been eaten around the hitching post. After tucking his robe, he found a place to sit in front of a little irrigation canal, where water thick with clay flowed, gurgled, and frothed. “To where, why, and from where does this water flow? It does not know and does not think about it,” sadly mused Hodja Nasreddin. “Nor do I know my own path, nor rest, nor home. Why did I come to Bukhara? Where will I go tomorrow? And where can I get my hands on half a tanga for lunch? Will I really have to remain hungry? That accursed toll collector, he robbed me clean and then was shameless enough to expound to me about robbers!”
